Our Bubble Run Fundraiser is due tomorrow, April 14th. Our Bubble Run is April 25th.
Join us this Tuesday for SAC and PTO at 3:45 in the Media Center to help us plan the final details for the Bubble Run.
This Friday, April 18th there is no school.
Looking ahead, we have Kindergarten FAST testing on April 22nd and 23rd. Check out the flyer attached to this post on Facebook and Remind for specific testing dates.
Calling all Future Cougar Leaders, our Kindergarten Round-up is April 23rd from 5-6pm. If you are planning to attend, make sure you RSVP using the link or QR code on Remind and/or Facebook.

Join us for STEAM night on March 4th from 5:30-7:00! Please make sure to RSVP! Check out the 7th annual Spring Break Sports Clinic hosted by CCSO and the PCHS Athletic Department. It is for students ages 8-14. Space is limited, so sign up today! Have you ordered your yearbook yet? They are on sale now until February 21st! Order your yearbook today for just 26$ through RevTrak. The flyer with a QR code is attached to the bottom of this message! As a reminder, kindergarten registration is still open for any cougars who will be joining us next year. Monday, January 20th is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, there is no school.
The week of January 27th, schools across the state of Florida are joining the fun with Celebrate Literacy! This year we are Building Literacy: Constructing the Foundation for Success with several in-school activities to promote reading.
In addition, on Tuesday January 28th we are hosting a "Books and Bites" event through New Worlds Reading. Join us at 5:30pm to have fun while learning strategies, tips, and tools to support reading development, enjoy a free meal, participate in reading activities and receive a take home book! You can pre-register with the QR code in the flyer below.
As a reminder, we have class pictures on January 28th.
Looking ahead, the Happy Camper book fair is coming to KES on January 31st through February 7th. More information will be sent home this week for specific times the book fair will be open.

Report cards will be published tomorrow on the Focus Parent Portal. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your child’s teacher.
In order to maintain a high level of student safety, students are required to wear school issued identification badges during regular school hours. Student ID badges must be worn around the neck using a school provided breakaway lanyard. If students have lost their ID, the first replacement is free, after that, it will be $5.00 for an ID. We appreciate your cooperation.
Join us for Family Movie Night this Friday at 5:30. We will be watching the movie Migration, outside, on the bus loop starting at 6 pm. Make sure to bring a chair or blanket to sit on while we watch the movie! We will have items for sale like popcorn, hot chocolate, and hot dogs. The weather will also be chilly, so dress warm.
Monday, January 20th is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, there is no school.
We are so excited to celebrate our students' accomplishments at our award ceremonies where students will be given recognition for their hard work from the first and second quarters of the school year! Please be on the lookout for award notices that will be sent home this week! The dates and times for awards were posted on both Facebook and Remind.
We have several jackets and sweaters in our lost and found, several of them do not have their names written on them. Please write your child’s name on the jackets and other items so they can be returned to their rightful owner.

Hello Cougar Leaders, this is Ms. Joiner, with this week’s school connect call.
Tomorrow and Tuesday, our 5th graders will be taking their FAST assessments. Students should get a good night of sleep and eat a healthy breakfast so they can show what they know! This week, we will have make-up testing for students who were absent during their testing days. We are so proud of the hard work our staff and students have put forth this school year to grow and succeed. To view your child’s scores, please go into your Focus Parent Portal and click on FAST assessments. You can see scores and detailed reports. Directions will be shared on Remind and Facebook.
In celebration of the holiday season, we are having some fun dress up days!
Monday is wear your favorite holiday gear!
Tuesday is wear your favorite holiday hat and socks!
Wednesday is ugly sweater day!
Thursday is dress like an elf!
Friday is pajama day!
As we have fun this week, please remember all attire must meet the requirements of our dress code and proper shoes should be worn, please do not wear slippers.
Don’t forget, this Tuesday, December 17th at 6 pm is our Winter Chorus Concert.
Wednesday, December 18th is the deadline for ordering Candy Grams. 5th grade will be delivering the Candy Grams on Thursday and Friday.
Lastly, Friday is the last day of school before Winter Break. We will see all of our cougars back at school on Monday, January 6th.
